Rise Together MN was born out of a simple but powerful truth: the best people to lift up a community are those who have come from it. Our founders are Minnesota-raised, first-generation college graduates who grew up in underrepresented communities across the state.
They know firsthand what it means to navigate systems without a roadmap — to work twice as hard with half the resources. That lived experience is not just our background, it is our blueprint. Everything we build, every program we run, is shaped by what we wish had existed for us growing up.
Today, Rise Together MN works to make sure the next generation of young people in Minnesota doesn't have to figure it out alone. We show up, we invest, and we rise together.
